Hmong ethnic fabric shoulder bag with red stripes - fair trade

Made by The Houey Hong Vocational Training Centre for Women in Laos. This organisation provides training for women from rural areas who are disadvantaged, poor and/or have a disability. Women are trained in weaving, dyeing and tailoring which provides an income, and revives and supports Lao’s traditional crafts, such as natural dyeing and traditional weaving.
