About Us
From The Source is a small family business based in Yorkshire that sells an original range of fair trade scarves, bags, clothes and crafts. It all started in 2007 when, whilst living and working in Laos, Paul and Fiona were inspired by the rich heritage of traditional crafts, particularly textile production.

Our Skipton Shop
In 2012 we opened our fair trade shop in Skipton, a town often referred to as "The Gateway to the Dales".

We aim to build long term relationships with our suppliers that are based on trust and respect, and assist in the design and development of new products. As consumers in the UK are increasingly disconnected from the origins of their purchases, we hope to challenge this trend by demonstrating that an awareness of the source of things you buy can make a real difference to people in some of the poorest countries in the world.
